Stephanie Neighbors-Giles

Challenges often find us at the start of our lives and continue  accumulating over time to the point where we can experience  multiple struggles concurrently without much of a breather in  between. It can be difficult to acknowledge when extra support is  needed to navigate the overwhelming confusion of it all. When the  desire to confront life’s various obstacles becomes stronger than the  inertia of maintaining the status quo, it is best to find someone who  will hear your story and support you in finding a way forward.

I provide empathetic, non-judgmental individual therapy for teens, adults, and older adults. I provide compassionate and accepting individual therapy sessions for adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Who I Am

My name is Stephanie Neighbors-Giles, and my compassion for  others extends as long as my entire name. Humor is an incredibly  valuable coping skill I utilize regularly to guide others in processing  the uncomfortable and distressing emotions we experience through  day-to-day living.

The goal of counseling is not to eliminate these uncomfortable  feelings, but rather manage them in a way that allows us to remain  functional amidst the craziness that life may bring. Just as manure  provides an environment allowing a garden to thrive, so too do  feelings perceived to be “negative” lay the groundwork for us to  realize our true inner strength and achieve holistic wellness.

How We’ll Work Together?

The core of my work centralizes on establishing a trusting  relationship with each of my clients so that they feel comfortable  exploring their feelings and living as their genuine self. Building a  partnership based on your self-knowledge and my training and  experience, I believe we’ll make a stellar team that will work  together on your unique wellness goals via evidence-based practices  infused with a humorous edge.
